Quiet Minutes

Terms of Use

Last updated 28 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Quiet Minutes app. By using the app, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

Quiet Minutes is a simple tool to help you build the habit of sitting still. It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care. If you are unwell or in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency service.

1. Who we are

Quiet Minutes is published by Vaiga (“we”, “us”), based in Australia. Contact: support@vaiga.com.au.

2. Your licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence to use Quiet Minutes for your own, non‑commercial use. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse‑engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the app except where the law expressly allows it.

3. Purchases

Quiet Minutes Pro is a one‑time purchase that unlocks longer sits, the custom timer, all sounds, the complete badge set and detailed reports, and removes ads. It is not a subscription — there is nothing recurring to cancel.

4. Ads

The free version shows occasional full‑screen ads (limited to a General/G audience rating). Upgrading to Pro removes them. See the Privacy Policy for how ad data is handled.

Ads are supplied by third parties. The products, services, offers and websites shown in ads are not ours — we do not endorse them and are not responsible for them, their accuracy, or any loss arising from them. Any dealing with an advertiser, including any purchase, is solely between you and that advertiser and is governed by that advertiser’s own terms and privacy policy. We are not a party to, and accept no liability for, those dealings.

We ask the ad network to restrict ads to a General (G) audience rating. However, ads are chosen and delivered by the ad network, not by us, so we cannot review every ad in advance or guarantee that its content will always match that rating. If you ever see an ad you believe is inappropriate, please email support@vaiga.com.au — ideally with a screenshot — and we will work with the ad provider to address it. You can also remove ads entirely by upgrading to Pro.

5. Acceptable use

Please use the app lawfully and don’t attempt to disrupt, misuse, or interfere with it or with other users’ enjoyment of it.

6. Your comfort and wellbeing

Quiet Minutes is a timer for sitting quietly. It is not medical advice, therapy, or treatment for any condition, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional.

Please listen at a volume that is comfortable. If a sound — or sitting still itself — ever feels uncomfortable, please stop. You can end a sit at any time, choose a different sound, or turn continuous sound off and sit in silence with only a start and end bell.

If you have a condition that may be affected by audio or by sitting quietly, please speak with your doctor before using the app.

7. No warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error‑free. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app (if any).

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and you agree to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
