Quiet Minutes

Privacy Policy

Last updated 28 August 2026

Quiet Minutes is built to be private. Nearly everything you do in the app stays on your device — there is no account, and we don't collect your personal information on our servers.

The short version. Your name, your sits, streaks and settings live only on your phone. We can't see them. A few trusted services help the app work — Google Play and RevenueCat for the one‑time purchase, and Google AdMob for ads in the free version — and this page explains exactly what they touch.

Who we are

Quiet Minutes is published by Vaiga (“we”, “us”), based in Australia. If you have any question about this policy, email support@vaiga.com.au.

Information stored on your device

The following is saved locally on your device only and is never sent to us:

You can erase all of it at any time from Settings → Clear my data, and uninstalling the app removes it completely.

Information handled by third parties

Purchases — Google Play & RevenueCat

If you buy Quiet Minutes Pro (a one‑time unlock), the payment is processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to record and restore that purchase; RevenueCat associates it with an anonymous, app‑generated identifier so your unlock can be restored on your device — it does not require your name or email. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

Ads — Google AdMob (free version only)

The free version shows occasional full‑screen ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure these ads, Google may access your device’s advertising identifier and related device and usage information. We limit ad content to a General (G) audience rating. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device’s settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Learn more in how Google uses advertising data.

Ads are supplied by third parties. If you tap an ad you may be taken to an advertiser’s website or app, which is outside our control and governed by that advertiser’s own terms and privacy policy — we are not responsible for their content, products or services.

Upgrading to Pro removes all ads, and with them the ad‑related data collection described above.

What we don’t do

Children’s privacy

Quiet Minutes is intended for people aged 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if that age is higher) and is not directed to children under that age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Consistent with this, the app is not configured for “child‑directed” treatment, and ads are limited to a General (G) audience rating.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used the app or provided personal information, please contact us at support@vaiga.com.au and we will promptly help remove it. Because your app data is stored only on your device, you can also erase everything at any time from Settings → Clear my data, or by uninstalling the app.

Your choices & rights

Because your app data lives on your device, you are in control of it directly through the app. Depending on where you live (for example, under the Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access or delete personal information held about you. For data held by our providers, you can contact Google or RevenueCat directly, or reach us at support@vaiga.com.au and we’ll assist.

Security

Your app data is stored locally using your device’s standard protections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we touch to a minimum by design.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
